THE VISION
From inception, Rostwerk is dedicated to create unique design pieces made of oxidized and stainless metals through art-oriented process. Blending young and aged, immaculate and used, smooth and rough, warm and cold, clean and degraded surfaces.
The Espresso Cup marks the first piece in the upcoming products.
MATERIALIZE ARTWORK
The art of watercolor is the source of Rostwerk pieces. Making artworks come alive.
Rostwerk design pieces are the result of a number of artworks experiencing blends of rusty tones sublimed with immaculate steel.
STEEL MATURATION
Each piece is matured through a natural and weathering process creating unique abstract and artistic rusted patterns of brown, red and yellowish tones. Just like watercolor, oxidation of steel materializes with alternation of humidification and drying. This process takes several weeks. The rusting evolves over time. The aspect will stabilize.
Dedicated events will take place in selected locations and feature both artworks and design pieces.
UNIQUE FOOTPRINT
Each piece has its own pattern and thus defines its own footprint. Therefore each piece is certified, genuine and unreplicable.
